Does anything happen in Lakshwadeep?
Why is that i don’t hear anything about lakshwadeep in media?
We hear about andamans only when earth quakes happen there.
Many in mainstream india can’t differentiate between a north-east indian,chinese or a japanese.
And whats more some dont know mizoram is part of india.
Recently i heard this conversation:
“I am from Mizoram”
“Oh good. Which country is it?”
The last time i heard/read about lakshwadeep was in my school geography books.
I am from Mizoram. It is a pitty that some don’t know the entire North East. I wonder what they studied in School.

hehehehe…. everytime people ask me where is Mizoram, I have to mention its near Assam… and when they don’t know that, then I mention West Bengal. From there, I say its on the other side, and they go “Ahh!!”

But then the school texts don’t say much about north east india either so many don’t have the awareness.
