Next Ubuntu is ‘Fiesty Fawn’

After toping the chart among the various linux distributions,Mark plans to release the next version of Ubuntu-its going to be ubuntu 7.04 code named ‘Fiesty Fawn’.I am sure its gonna rock.

This is looking good already. It will come out of the box with a compiled gnome that has compositing enabled. It will introduce AIXGL and beryl, telepathy and other tools. It will also be a landmark as the first linux distribution to distribute the java gpl version in source on their repositories.

I’m anxious to see the results.

I am not a supporter of adding more eye candy to linux.So the AIGLX or beryl is not a great news for me.And about providing the java gpl along with it is also not gonna make much of difference to me.
and as far as the css… i haven’t done it.I have just used the one available by default with wordpress… :)
